fuel 21 is building a bioethanol production plant with a capacity of 130,000 cubic metres per year in Klein Wanzleben/Sachsen-Anhalt. Its location in the centre of a sugar beet growing area, and the well developed logistics infrastructure, make this an ideal location. Not to mention the already existing Nordzucker AG sugar factory immediately next door. The plant therefore benefits from synergies involving several aspects: logistics, raw material processing, energy supply and human resources.
